Sam Part 1

A young boy watches as others play The kids don't want to let him play.

The boy shoots their basketball. He makes it disapear.

He makes it reapear and the kids say Mora's doll talks to the boy. Who is
he is a freak. named Sam.

The boy is overwhelmed. Z arrives and scares the bullies off.

She tries to bond with the boy. The boy isn't so sure about Z.

This makes the handcuff's disapear. The Rangers wonder where the hand

      Things get rocky for Jack when the                       The boy returns yet again.

Z sees the boy on the ground. The boy helps the robot.

Z and Jack arrive on the scene. Sam tries to get away. He is spotted.

Jack and Z try to tell Sam that they Sam says they are not alike because

Rangers.

monster without much results.

Z tries to reason with Sam before she The Monster sends an attack agains

Both Rangers are down on the grounds.. Sam continues to watch as the episode
ends.

Comments

Many interesting points were brought up in this episode. First we learn that there may be a reason for the Rangers all having power. Or at least Bridge and Z think there is. I am glad to see them address this question rather than just letting the Rangers have power for no reason. The conflict over Sam is interesting. Sam is different and people are scared of him, yet he has a great power that can be used for good. Unfortunatly he has falled in with the wrogn crowsd. I like the conflcit between Sky and Z. Sky merely thinks they are all freaks for having powers and Z thinks th powers are gifts. Sky is more harsh about Sam than Z. Its nice to have an episode where Z is the focus. Sam was also an interesting character for many of the reasons listed above. He isn't just an annoying kid. The audince can really connect with his problems. There was also plenty of action in this episode to keep us all interested. The new Organge Monster was bad ass and seems like he will be an interesting foe for the next episode. I no longer am worryied about the villians. Gruumm is acting bad ass enough and Mora's child likeness is well contained. Overall another good episode in a string of well done SPD Episodes.
