Comments
So we got to see a lot of Jack this
week. We saw Jack take advantage of his leadership privilages. But at
the end he learned that being a good leader means setting the good
example. This episode futher helps Jack learn responsibility . It will
undoubtably end up being a cruical building block for the character.
Also it teaches kids a good lesson as well. This episode also
futher demonstrates how Commander Cruegar lets his cadats learn
on their own. He never openly critizes Jack when he obviously wasn't
happy with his abuse of authority.. He let the team decide whether Jack
was a good leader or not. Than he let Jack realize his mistake on his
own before sending him into action. So A Squad is MIA. This means
B Squad is on their own. Personally I would have rather have had A
Squad stick around. That way B Sqaud would have had to adjust to being
just the back ups. Would have made for interesting story telling.
I don't like the addition of Mora. She dumbs down the villians too
much. In the priemere Gruumm was tottally bad ass. But this episode
showed him to be a bit goofy around Mora. Hopefully any silliness
is contained to his scenes with Mora. Broodwing seems
interesting. I wonder if he will betray Gruumm down the line. The
Zord battle was londer this time and we got to see more of the zords.
It's interesting how the Rangers defeated the robot than fought the
monster on the ground. Its a reverse of the usual formula we
usually see. Overall the action in this episode was good. The episode
itself was well done and provided a interesting look into the Jack
character.
