Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue began as three thieves in the  egyptian desert stumbled upon an ancient tomb. The three thieves accidently unleashed horrible demons. The demons were lead by a demon general named Dobolico. His henchman  included; Loki,Vypra, Jinxer and baby Empus ( who was the son of their missing queen). The demons vowed to retake their  land for when their queen would return. To do so they had to destroy the city built upon it, called Marinar Bay.

Captain Mitchill of Lightspeed was mointering the situation and sent his daughter ( Dana Mitchill) to recurit four young adults. She brought in Joel Rawlings ( Stunt polit), Chad Lee (Water show worker), Kelesy Winslow ( extreme sports star), and Carter Greyson (Fireman). The four were told of the demons. They learned the demons were imprisoned thousands of years ago by a warlock. Now they had been freed.  Mitchill informed the young men and woman that he had chosen them to become the Lighspeed Power Rangers. The four laughed it off and couldn't believe what they heard. But Dolbolico had already  had his servant (Jinxer) bring to life a monster. The Rangers saw all the surffering that resulting from the monster demon's attack. They agreed to become Rangers. Mitchill revealed that their was a fifth morpher that he was  going to give to his daughter, since he had been training her for  the role her whole life. The Lightspeed Rangers used their new powers to defeat Dobolico's monster. They returned to Lightspeed as conquering heros but Captian Mitchill was quick to piont out that the war had just begun.

Joel met a Lighspeed scientist named Angel Fairweather. He immidiatly took a liking to her. Joel didn't know that she was a top Lightspeed scientist ( the one who designed their morphers). Joel didn't show up for an important meeting that would have explained everything. Fairweaher introduced herself to the Rangers and gave them their Rail Rescues.  A powerful demon impacted the Earth and the Rangers used their new zords for thr first time. Joel got  a little cocky and Fairwheather had to put him in his place. The Rangers formed the Lightspeed Megazord and won the day. Joel tried to hit on Fairweather again but still didn't know who she was and thats  was the one that took him down a peg. Fairwether let him have it.

Mitchill immidatly put the Rangers through constant rescue drills. Carter did the best out of all the Rangers. He was confused as to why Mitchill yelled at him. At the same time he faced a crisis as Mitchill ordered him to put out a fire during a battle rather than save a boy. the boy was hurt badly.  Carter was  mad at Mitchlll for not letting hims save the boy right way. The incident brought back memories from when a fire fighter saved him as a kid. Carter soon learnd that he hit a mock bomb in the training exercise. He soon realized there was real explosives at the battle scene. Mitchill told Carter he was more than capable at being a Ranger. Carter helped his friend win the day. The little boy ended up being alright and thanked Carter for helping him.

The Rangers continued to train and battle th evil forces of the demons. Jinxer always used his magic cards to bring demons to life or make them grow. The Rangers also faced the demon foot soldiers. known as badlings. Vypra became a very formidable nemisis. She gave the Rangers a scare with her new vichule. Luckly Fairwether was able to make the Ranger bikes to even the score.

Qween Bansheera spirit soon arrived and expressed anger over Dibolico's failures. She summoned the demon the Rangers had defeated in their first zord battle ( making him stronger than ever). Fairwhether was investigating a mountain. Because of the demon attack she was stuck in a cave. Joel raced to the rescuee and saved her. The demon badly defeated the Megazord.  Fairwether was able to make it back into the lab to complete the formation sequence. This  allowed the super train ( carrier of the rail rescues) to turn into the Mega Supertrain. The Rangers used this new megazord to destory their enemy.

Anglea Fairweather began test a sixth lightspeed power. Carter was first person to try to use it. The test failed and Mitchill put the project on hole. The power too unstable for the time being. A mysterious  figure took the Tatanium Morpher. Mitchill and Dana remembered their lost son and brother, who had died in car accident ( it  should have been his twentieth birthday). The mysterious figure surfaced as the new Titanium Ranger. The Rangers faced a tough challenge from him. This Ranger worked for Dolibolico. Fairwheather gave the Rangers new V Lancers. Which finally gave the Rangers the edge and there new foe. When the Rangers were about to finish the Titanium Ranger Mitchill ordered them to stop. He realized that the new Ranger was his son.

Mitchill told the Rangers about the night  he got into a car accident long ago. He was hanging from a ledge with Dana and Ryan clinging to him. Ryan lost his grip and fell. Dolbolico's spirt came and stopped the fall. He promised to save Ryan if Michill gave  the boy to him. So Mitchill was forced to give his son up to save his life. Dolbolbico promised he would see his son again on his twentieth birthday. Dana confronted her brother after all these years and tried to reason with him. But Ryan beleived his father had abandoned him and wouldn't listen. Captian Mitchill later met his son in private. After an argument the two ended up hanging from a ledge. The branch they hanged from  began to break. Mitchill smiled at his son and let go so Ryan could live. Ryan saw this and used his Ranger powers to break Mitchill's fall. He than realized he had been lied to. He gave up his morpher and left Mitchill.

Ryan confronted Dolobolcio and quit his services since he knew Dolibolico lied to him all those years. Ryan visited his father and told him that he was taking a trip to find himself. Mitchill gave him a present to open when he did find himself. Meanwhile Bansherra gave Dobolico three more chances. Dolbolcio sent his three most powerful demons after the Rangers. He also planeted feathers to act as exposives. The feathers were quiclky removed by Lighspeed. Ryan found out about this and remembered he had given  a feather to a girl. He raced to the girl and got thr feather away from her before it exploded. Ryan realized he was indeed good. He opened the present his father gave him and found out it was the tataium morpher. Ryan raced to help his friends. He morphed and was able to send the demons retreating after a fight with them. The Rangers excitedly welcomed Ryan to the team and the Micthill family. Dolbolico left a terrible surprise  for Ryan in a nightmare. Ryan was given the curse of the cobra. A Cobra became tattoed on his back. Everytime he morphed the cobra would move clser to his neck. When it reached his neck Ryan would die.

Ryan kept Dolbolico's curse a secret. Dobolico sent the trio of evil demons against the Rangers. Ryan began to feel the effects of Dobolico's curse. The leader of the trio made a clone of himself that began to battle Ryan. Ryan was losing badly. Carter was able to find away to defeat the leader of the trio. The leader was destoryed a long with his clone. Carter later found out about Ryan's condition and told Captian Mitchill about it. Captian Mitchill forbided Ryan to go out into battle again until his curse was lifted. He wasn't going to lose his son again.

Dolibolico wasted no tiem in sending the remaining two demons  of his trio out again. Bansheera was growing impatient and said he only had a few chances left. If Dolbolbico failed her son Empus would take his place. Dobolico's demon's esclated a zord battle. The Rangers were losing badly. Ryan learned of the Max Solar Zord, a powerful zord that Fairweather designed for him. Ryan snuck into the zord and used it to help the Rangers defeat dobolico's demons. Ryan collapsed in his zord. Fairweather examined him back at the Aqua Base and determined that  if he morphed again he would die. Ryan was worried that his dad would be mad at him. Mitchill was in fact proud of his son for risking his life to save his friends.

Dobolico recarnated his three demon's as one. The Rangers battled the new incarnation of the trio. Ryan meanwhile went to the tomb the demons escaped from, to try to  find a way to end the curse. The Rangers defeated the trio once and for all. Dobolico had one chance left. He grew to gigantic size and faced the Rangers in their Lightspeed Megazord. The Rangers were losing badly to the demon master himself. Ryan meanwhile battled the Corba demon that held the power of his curse. He was able to defeat the demon and lift the curse for good. Ryan jioned his firends in and activated the max solar zord. Fairweather instructed the Rangers to form a  new megazord with Max Solar Zord and Lightspeed Megazord combining.. The Rangers were able to destory Dolobolico with the new megazord. Dobolico's star power went into Empus, causing him to generate a cacoon around himself.

The Rangers celebrated the defeat of Dolibolico and the aparent end of the war.  The Rangers soon learned the war was far from over when Empus'  Cacoon had grown to adult size ( and was hovering over the city). The Rangers went to invesigate and tried to destory the caccon. Their attemps were all in vain as Empus emerged from the cacoon full grown. He was now the Demon Olympus. The demons tried to Mock Olympus and treat  him  like a baby, except for Jinxer. Olympus soon proved them wrong as he  captured Chad, Kelesy, Joel, and Dana. He used their forms to impersonate them at the Aqua Base. He attempted to let the demons gain acces to the Aqua Base. Fourtunatly Carter was able to stop him by throwing him in the under water   enterance to  the aqua base. This severly weakened Olympus and allowed the other Rangers to escape.

Mitchill gave the Rangers a day off. Carter used the day off to work. Mitchill was amazed and told him he didn't have to be that dedicated. Mitchill and Carter teamed up to save  a child during a demon attack. Later Carter and the Rangers destory the latest Demon. Mitchill told Carter that was the one who rescued him as a boy. Mitchill drove Carter to jion the others on their day off.

Olympius wouldn't  give up and would become a real menace to the Rangers. The day finally came for the cermony that would bring his mother back to physical form. The Rangers learned about this and stopped at nothing to  stop the cermoney. Luckly they were able to disrupt the cermony enough to cause Bansheera to come back incomplete. Olympous vowed to avenge this travesty. Ryan (realzing the demons were getting too powerful) went off to find out more about them so he could find away to send them back to their prison. The Rangers were given contol of the Max Solar Zord via remote control.

Fairwether soon invented a new megazord for the Rangers ( called the Omega Megazord). This megzord came in handy when the demons sent  a meteor to  impacting earth.  A little boy Joel had befriended discovered the  meteor and alerted Fairweather to it. The Omega Megazord became a valuable part of the Ranger's arsenal. The Rangers continued to battle Olympus and all the demons.

On Mirinoi Leo once again pulled the quasar saber form its stone. He faced a new evil named Triskull. He watche d in horror as Triskull left for  Earth. Carter found a little girl who haw claimed her mother was being held prisoner in  a building. Carter figured out that the girl wasn't lying and that something was wrong.  Carter didn't know that  Trekeena and  Triskull had made an alliance with Olympus. They were capturing people to restore Trekeena's green form/ Trakeena wanted revenge for her defeat. Olmpus didn't know about that part of the deal ( he thought the energy was for his mother) but soon realized he was betrayed. Leo teamed up with the Lightspeed Rangers to  stop  this new threat. One by one the other Galaxy Rangers arrived. Together they were abel to defeat Triskull and save all the innocent people caught by Trakeena. Trakeena was double crossed by Olympus and was injected with a tainited potion that turned her into an unstable purple monster ( also making her giant). The Galaxy Megazord was taken out of commission. The Galaxy Rangers gave the Omega Megazord an upgrad with the Lights of Orion. This allowed the Rangers to destory Trakeena. The Lost Galaxy Rangers returned to Mirinoi and the girl was reunited with her parents, now a jr ranger.

Olympious attempted to kill Vypra and Loki. The two managed to survive and went back to the demon tomb ( as Ryan was anaylizing it). The two demons used a spell to resurrect Dolbolico sans his star power. Ryan tried to warn  the Rangers but his transmison was interfered with. The Rangers now once again had Dolbolico to deal with. Doblolico wanted his star power back . Bansheera didn't mind having Dolibolico back , as long a it didn't interfer with   her true goals. Ryan went to meet the Sorcorer Of The Sands.

Olympius found out about the Shadow World. It was the world all demons go to when they died. Olympious plotted to trap the Rangers there. Thankully with a little help from the  Sorcorer Of The Sands Ryan was able to help the Rangers get free. Olympous ended up stuck in the world thanks to Dobolicio. The Sorceror tried to use his magic to trap the demons. Dolibolico used his own magic to stop the sorceror and destory him. Ryan did learn of a powerful key that was needed by Bansheera.

Loki asked Qween Bansheera's permisson to destory the Ranger himself. The Queen said he was his most honerable worrier. Later Dolbolico heard the queen saying that she was just  using Loki like all of her subjects. This made Doboloico start to turn against Queen Bansherra. Dolibolico  tried to warn Loki but he didn't listen. During a fight with the Ranger's Bansheera ordered Dolibolico to use a bozooka to blast at Loki when the Rangers were around him. Dobolico refused but the queens magic forced him too. The Rangers dodged the blast but Loki was fetally wounded. He told his old friend to  not trust Bansheera like he did. Dolbolico than turned against Bansheera and fought the newly recovered Olympous. Unfortuanly, Bansheera was able to  take over his will. The Rangers were able to restore his will temporally and obtained the key to the Shadow Word. Bansheera regained control of Dobolico made Olympious and him into  giants. The Rangers lost the Lightspeed Megazord, the Supertrain Megazord, and the Max Solar Zord in the battle. The Omega Zord was badly damaged. The Rangers used the new Life Force Megazord to finally  destory the two demon lords. During the battle the key to the Shadow World ended up back at the Demon Tomb.

Qween Bansheera took Vypra's lifeforce to bring herself back to her full physcial form. She readied her plan to free all the demons from the Shadow World. Ryan found the key to the Shadow World in the tomb. Bansheera captured him before he could give it to the Rangers. . Bansheera's forces found away to sneak into the Aqua Base. Carter had already gone to try and rescue Ryan. The Rangers , Mitchill and Fairweather became trapped in the aqua base as the villans took control of the Life Force and Omega Megazords.  The Life Force Megazord attacked the Aqua Base.

Carter rescued Ryan and the two esaped  Skull Cavren as Bansheera prepared to open the door way to the Shadow World. The Rangers, Mitchill, and Fairwether escaped the Aqua Base in a  submarine and destoryed the Life Force Megazord. Carter and Ryan destoryed the Omega Megazord on the serface( which Jinxer was using to prepare for Bansheera's cermony, the one needed to free the fallen demons from the Shadow World). In one last battle against  Bansheera, the Rangers raced to stop her evil plan. Carter was left hanging form the doorway to the Shadow World with Bansheera holding on to his leg below him. Dolbolico's spirit arrived and refused to help Bansheera. He instead made  her fall into the Shadow World, where all her subjects took revenge upon her. Carter was pulled out of the gateway as  the Ranger ssealed the portal. Skull Cavern desintragrated for good. Peace was restored and the Rangers were finally able to retire. Joel finally got a date with Fairweather. But as the Rangers turned in their morphers they all found themselve racing to another rescue, as there was a fire in town.
