Meanwhile the former Turbo Rangers were still on their shuttle. Alpha 6 had a glitch that made him not talk right. The Rangers got caught  by a mysterious spaceship. Their shuttle docked with it almost automatically. The Rangers went looking around the ship and found all kinds of sections to the ship. They made their way to some kind of control center within the ship, it was the ships bridge. Alpha seemed to know how to work the ship. The Red Ranger running from Astronoma came into the ship( it belonged to him). He trapped the Rangers outside the bridge believing them to be enemies. TJ tried to tell them they were Power Rangers but he wouldn't listen. Astronoma attacked the ship while the Red Ranger tried to fight back. The engines were severely damaged. The Turbo Rangers made it to engineering and fixed the engine for the mysterious new Ranger. The Red Ranger watched on from the bridge and suddenly knew they weren't his enemies. But it wasn't enough to prevent the ship from crashing into a deserted planet's surface.

Astronoma sent her quantrons to attack the downed ship. The Red Ranger went outside to engage them. TJ and the Turbo Rangers followed him to help him in the fight. The group was able to defeat the quantrons. The Red Ranger demorphed and introduced himself as Andros. The Rangers were shocked as they realized he was human ( especially Ashley). Andros said he was from a planet named KO 35 ( a space colony ). Andros wore a formal uniform. Andros told the Rangers he was looking for Zordon. The Rangers said they were too and that they had to get to the Crimarian planet. Andros said he was already there and that the villans already had left. Andros told the Rangers Zordon's powers were being drained. The Rangers were surprised but Andros assured them it would take awhile to drain all of Zordon's power and that he wouldn't let the evil win. The Rangers wanted to help Andros but he just brushed them off. The Rangers aided Andros in repairing the megaship. Andros gave Alpha a brand new vioce chip and prepared the Rangers shuttle for travel back to Earth. The Rangers continued to try to get Andros to let them help him on his mission. Andros pionted out they were planetary Rangers and knew nothing about Space. Ashley noticed Andros didn't like accepting help.

With all the repairs done Andros left the Ranger' s ship outside on the planet. He said his goodbyes to the Rangers and wished them luck. He than  took off in the megaship. The Rangers were about to enter their ship to go back to earth when they realized Alpha 6 was missing. At this moment Astronomas forces returned. This time the quantrons captured the Rangers. Astronoma came down and introduced her self to the Rangers. She wanted to know where  Andros went. Meanwhile Andros was on his way to his next destination as  Alpha revealed himself ( he purpously stayed  on the ship). Alpha was able to convince Andros that he would need all the help he could get if he was gonna rescue Zordon. Andros thought about what his new frieds had been telling him and decided to turn back and give them a chance.

The Rangers wouldn't tell Astronman anything. Astronoma said they had no power and were of no use to her. She ordered them destroyed and returned to her ship. Just than the Megaship came around and blasted at the quantrons, the Rangers were freed. The Megaship landed and Andros came running out. He gave the Rangers four new Astro Mophers. The five Rangers than morphed. The Rangers were in ah of their new space powers. TJ was the new Blue Ranger and Carlos was now the Black Ranger. Ashley  and Cassie were still yellow and pink respectively. The Space Rangers were able to defeat the quantrons with their teamwork. They quickly ran to the bridge of the Megaship as Astronoma's ship began to attack them. Andros new Astronoma wasn't done yet. The Megaship lifted off into Space but Astronoma continued her attack. Alpha told the Rangers the black box ( some wreckage from the Power Chamber) would give them a secret weapon. It was all part of Zordon's master plan.

The Rangers reentered their upgraded shuttle and were able to conbine it with the Astro Megaship ( as Andros ship was called) to form the Astro Megazord. Using the Megazord saber they destroyed Astronoma's ship. Later on Andros gave the Rangers a tour of the ship ( they now had uniforms of their own). He told them they needed to find some place to finish off the last of the repairs before they could enter deep space travel. The Rangers suggested Earth since NASADA could help them ( plus the were homesick). Andros agreed and the course was set for Earth. Meanwhile Astronoma had survived the battle and was now in her Dark Fortress. She was following the Rangers as they traveled to Earth. She vowed to follow them to Earth and destory  them.

The Rangers arrived on Earth. They landed their space shuttle at NASADA. The Rangers showed Andros around Earth. They discovered that the jiuce bar had been bought out by some lady named Adelle. It was now called the Surf Spot. It became the Rangers new hang out. Bulk and Skull also hang out their. Ashely discovered Andros knew telekinisis. One of Andros old nemisis' showed up to try to defeat the Power Rangers ( his name was Ecliptor). Meanwhile Astronoma tried to destroy the Astro Shuttle. The Rangers were able to make it to the shuttle and blast off. Once in their Megaship they formed the Astromegazord and fought a gigantic Ecliptor. Ecliptor was defeated and the Rangers saved the day. Repairs to the Megaship were  completed. Andros promised to teach Ashley telekinisis if she would teach him pool.

The Rangers spent most of their time looking for Zordon in deep space but did spend time on Earth during down times. Bulk and Skull went to work for a porfessor to try to find aliens. Astronoma continued to find ways to defeat the Power Rangers. Viewers started to see that Ecliptor was like a father to her and was her faithfull servant. At one piont Astronoma even took over the minds of the of the Ninja Turtles and tried to get them to help her take over the Megaship. The Rangers fioled her plans and freed the turtles from her control. Together they defeated Astronoma.

In deep space, Divatox was helping guard the ship that Zordon was being transported in. The Phantom Ranger  had beeing following  her and had been injured. He summoned the Rangers after he narrowly  got away. The Rangers made it to the Phantom Ranger. Astronoma sent a monster to Angel Grove to distract them from going after Zordon. The Astro Megazord was getting beating bad. The injured Phantom told Andos to go claim the Delta Megazord. Andros claimed it and use the new megazord to defeat the monster. Divatox used in getting away with Zordon. The phantom was gone when the Rangers went looking for him but sent  a message that he was on Zordon's trail.  He left a personal message to Cassie saying he was alright.

A new mysterious evil worrier appeared, named Darkconda. He offered his services to Astronoma. Eclipter new him from the past and didn't trust him. Astronoma gave Darkconda a chance however and he proved a threat to the Rangers. Darkconda even tricked Astronoma into thinking Eclipter was interfering with his plans. Astronoma told Eclipter that Darkconda was to be respected. Andros remembered that Darconda was the one that took his sister. He went to an outlaw planet in disguise to do some intel.. Upon meeting Darkconda  he got further proof that Darkconda took his sister. Andros sat down to a card game with Darkconda. One of the players bet some key cards he got during the invasion of Eltar, from Zordon himself. Andros won the key cards in a card game before he was found out. Once his cover was blown Andros escaped. Darkconda sent him a transmission, telling him to give up the key cards for the where abouts of his sister. Andros went off to face Darkconda and the other Rangers followed him. Darkconda fought the  the Rangers.

Ecliptor posioned Darkconda but it only made him stronger. He grew to mammoth size and fought the Megazord. Darkonda devided himself in two, creating a separate monster.  The Rangers escaped the battle to go find a secret weapon on another planet (from the key cards). Astronoma followed them. Alpha used the remote control to piolet the megazord against there monster but was losing badly. The Rangers found the secret weapon they needed. It was five new zords that were left by Zordon. The Rangers used these zords to form the Mega Voyager and destoryed Darkconda and his monster. The Megaship was in need of heavy repairs.

On a distant moon Mountain Blaster and Lightning Crusier were being held against their will by  Divatox's forces. Mountain Blaster was able to escape and went to the home of Justin Stewart, asking for his help. Meanwhile the Rangers were in over his head. With the help of Mounatin Balster Justin was able to use his old turbo powers and save the Space Rangers. The team with their young friend than rescued Lightining Cruiser. Justin than returned home and went fishing with his dad.

While on a deep space misson the rangers landed on a distant planet. The Rangers learned that their was a Power Ranger frozen on board. He was Andros' best friend. Andros told the Rangers that Zhane( the Silver Ranger) risked his life to save him during Dark Spectors' invasion of KO 35. Zhane was mortally injured while saving Andros. Andros was able to put him in the cryogenics  medical machine in hope of reviving him. Ashley wondered why Andros had not told them about Zhane earlier a Mysterious aliens was present in a rock the Rangers took from the planet.  The alien  caused  to crash back to the planet's surface. More aliens jioned in on the attack. The Rangers were outnumberd and outmatched. Zhane's support system started to malfunction. When all seemed lost Zhane awoke from his long sleep and helped the Rangers defeat the aliens. The Rangers lifted off into space. Andros was overjoyed to be reunited with his friend and introduced him to the Rangers. The two than went off to catch up as Zhane had been frozen for 2 years. Zhane jioned the Space Rangers and became their Sixth Ranger.

The Rangers continued searching for Zordon with Zhane's help. Andros got jealous of Zhane when he started spending time with Ashley. At this time Darkconda came back and had a whole race of engineered monsters. Andros and Zhane made up and the Rangers were able to defeat Darkconda's scheme.

Zhane realized his powers were not at full power due to the crogenic freezing. He was slowly losing his power. Astronoma realized this and tried to target him. Zhane kept his problem a from everyone except Alpha 6. The Rangers found out but  misheard the news and thought Zhane was hidden. They immidtaly began given hims special treatment. Zhane went to a mountain to get a lighting charge. The ligthning charged his morpher and his powers were fully restored. Later the Rangers found out the truth and made Zhane do extra chores for letting them think he was dieing.

Astronoma attacked the Rangers. One of her monsters turned on her, prompting Zhane to save her. The two spent some time alone as Astronoma recovered. Astronoma left in a hurry but she had felt something for Zhane, as Zhane was also attracted to her. Astronoma became distracted with her misson to capture the Rangers and began to think about Zhane. The two made a date soon after. Unfortuantly Ecliptor sent Astronoma's monster out. Zhane had to miss his date with Astronoma to save the Rangers. When he arrived he was very late, making Astronoma very mad. She dumped him but kept his picture secretly.

Weeks later, Zhane and Andros were investiging a desolate world looking for traces of Zordon. The two got side tracked when the other Rangers came looking for them. The four Rangers were captured by a group of refugees. The captain of the refugees demanded they executed as spies for Dark Spector. No one beleived that the Rangers were Power Rangers.  The king suggested they'd be given a fair trial. they must give them a fair trial. The rangers found out that something was turning the people of the world into corral and the rangers were the prime suspects. The rangers were locked up. The captian of the refugees was really an agent of Dark Spector. Zhane and Andros tracked down their friends and forcasted their innocense. It turns out that the refugees were from KO35 and they knew Andros and Zhane really well. The rangers were than freed. The spector agent continued to caused throuble and sent an corral monster for the rangers to fight. Zhane fought the traitor (who had taken the king hostage).  The triator  was really Darkconda is in disguise. Zhane saved the King and destoryed Darkconda. The Rangers defeated the corral monster with their megazord.The corral problem was cured and the Rangers prepared to resume their search for Zordon. Zhane decided to stay with the rebels, since they would need his protection. Andros said good-bye again to his old firend and continued on his mission.

Astronoma began to have a personal crises. Eclipter tried to help  remind her that her parents and  brother were killed by Power Rangers. Astronoma had a locket like Andros. In battle Andros saw Astronoma's locket and realized she was Karone ( his sister). Astronoma didn't beleive Andros at first but it only added to her doubts. Eclipter told her the truth that she was Karone and that he only lied to help her embrace her evil side. He loved her like a daughter and didn't want to see her hurt. Darkconda tried to badmouth Astronoma to Spector, since she now knew her true idenity. Astronoma realized Ecliptor was right about Darkconda. Dark Spector told Astronoma she had to prove herslef and kill her brother. Darkconda was killed by Andros.

Astronoma went to her brother and said she would jion him and help the Rangers find Zordon. Andros brought Astronma on the Megaship, much to the Ranger's distrust. They did not trust Astronoma and thought she would betray them. Astronoma agreed to be locked up during the journey to the planet Zordon was being held at. Andros kept her company and told her about ther parents. He had lost track of them after KO35 was invaded but hoped they made it out ok. Once on the planet, Astronoma led the Rangers into the planet pretending they were her prisoners. The Rangers landed on a disolate part of the planet and Astronoma led them to where Zordon was. Unfortunatly it was a trap and this was a fake Zordon. It was really Dark Spector in disguise. The Rangers were than surrounded by Spector's forces. Andros couldn't beleive his sister would betray him like this. Astronoma proved loyal to Andros however, as she helped the Rangers escape.  She betrayed Dark Spector instead. Eclipter helped the Rangers get a way, telling Andros to protect Astronoma.The Rangers lifted off in the Megaship and escaped. Ecliptor was badly injured and captured by Dark Spector's forces. Darkconda was made Captain of the dark fortress ( it was around this time that it was revealed that  Darkconda had multiple lives, which was why he kept on coming back from the dead so many times).

Astronoma adjusted to life as one of the  good guys and went by the name Karone. The Rangers now trusted her and made her an honary Power Ranger, even giving Karone her own uniform. Spector wanted revenge for her betrayal and had a meteor sent to destory the Earth. The Rangers tried everything they could to stop it but nothing would work. Karone said the Dark Fortess was controling the meteor and she could stop it by breaking into her old ship. Andros didn't like it but realized it was the only way. Karone broke into the Dark Fotress and began reprogramming the meteor. Ecliptor greeted her unexpectedly. He was now hooked up to all kinds of machinery, making him a cyborg. He tackled Karone and began to add the cyber equitment to her. Andros and the Rangers were worried about what happened to Karone but had no time. They used their megazords to stop the metoer. Luckly they were assisted by Zhane in his new Mega Winger( that was made by the rebels). The Rangers were able to get rid of the metoer. Andros filled Zhane in on evrything that had happend with Astronoma/Karone. Zhane wasn't surpised as he knew their was good in her. Andros and Zhane went to break into the Dark Fortress to save Karone. Zhane confessed that he dated her weeks ago, prompting Andros to become the concerned brother. But Zhane assured him it was just a one time thing , before he knew she was Andros' sister. Andros and Zhane disquised themselves as qauntrons and made it to Karone. She now had the cyper equitment on her and said her name was Astronoma.  Andros wa speechless but had no time to reason with his sister as they had to escape. Andros found out Karone was hooked up to some kind of device that controlled her emotions. He vowed to set her free and get her back. The Rangers agreed to help him. Meanwhile Astronoma kicked Darkconda out of the Dark Fotress.

Dark Spector sent Astronama his Phsyco Rangers. They were Evil Rangers bent on destroying the Space Rangers. They proved more than a match for the Rangers. They copied each of the Ranger's knowledge from the Ranger's brains. Each  Phs\ysco Ranger was selfish and only cared about destorying their Power Ranger counterpart. Whenever they were used they took a toll on Dark Spector's powers. Astronoma planned on using this to take out Dark Spector and become the qween of evil herself. Eclipter learned of her plan and jioned in on it. The Rangers had trouble battling the phycos and seemed to have no way of defeating them. Physco Pink and yellow defied Astronoma and captured Ashley on there own. The Rangers saved Ashley and fought Physco Pink. Physco Pink went into her monster form. The Rangers destoryed her with the megazord. Astronoma was furious and warned the Phsycos not to defy her again..

TJ came up with plan to make the ranger's colors all blue, to trick the Physcos. Zhane pretended to be a Physco Silver. In the end it all came down to a zord battle between the Rangers and Physco Blue. Physco Blue was destoryed. Dark Spector's energy was drainng fast and Astronoma new she was close to becoming qween of evil. The remaining physcos captured the Mega Voyager and sent it to another demension. They laid a trap for the Rangers by having Physco Yellow enter the Mega Voyager as a virus. The Rangers found the  Mega Voyager in another  demension and retook it. They soon found out Physco Yellow was in on it. They were under attack by Physco Black and Physco Red. Physco Red defied Astronoma and attacked the Red Ranger on his own. The Rangers got Physco Yellow out of the Mega Voyager. In the end they were able to destory all of the Physcos. Finally the battle had ended and the Rangers could once again look for Zordon. Dark Spector returned to normal and Astronoma was mad that her plan had failed.

Zhane continued to come back and help the Rangers from time to time. Astronoma created a secret city where she  captured people and turned them into data . The Rangers went into the secret city to stop her. Andros got a Mega Battle Mode. The ghosts of the Physco Rangers used the data changing machine to make them solid again. They again fought the Rangers. Luckly the Rangers were able to turn them into data with the same machine that made them solid. Astronoma's plan was foiled and all the people were freed. But Astronoma kept the key cards with the Physcos in them for later use.

The battle between good and evil started to really to take its  toll. The Rangers began to lose their zords one by one. The Delta Megazord and Mega Voyager were destoryed. Dark Spector than ordered Astronoma to begin the final battle. Astronoma took command of Spector's forces and orderrd all the evil of the universe to attack the good ( Rita, and Zedd, and Divatox, the Machine Empire, and others).  The evil forces were forced to comply with Astronoma by Dark Spector's orders. Zordon was now on Astronoma's ship and tried to reason  with her. She wouldn't listen. The Galaxy was overwhelmed  by the evil forces. Many of the Ranger's s allies fought the evil invaders on various  planets. The Blue Centurion, Phantom  Ranger, the Gold Ranger, and the Alien  Ranger all jioned in the fight. The Rebel Base was under attack and Zhane went to get help for the Rangers. Once united with the Rangers he found out the whole universe was under attack. Astronoma than began an attack on Earth. The Rangers raced to Earth and  tried to stop the attack. Zhane used his Mega Winger. Unfortunatly the Mega Winger was heavily damaged. The Rangers were overwhelmed and retreated. Darkconda took a powerful missle that was supposed to be able destroy the Earth. He used it on Dark Spector to try and become the ruler of the universe. Dark Spector was mortally wounded but was still able to kill Darkconda ( on his final life) before he exploded. Zordon's powers were than stopped from being drained ( since Spector was gone) but Astronoma was now qeeen of evil.  Astronoma fortified her claim of Angel Grove. The Rangers escaped and tried to figure out  what to do. The civlians of Angel Grove  were restless and wondered if the Power Rangers could save them. Bulk and Skull knew they would. The Rangers were reunited with Zhane who said the Mega Winger was out of commission. The Rangers decided to come up with stratagy for a counterattack. Andros wanted to go and try to reason with his sister. The Rangers told him it was impossible and that she was reprogramed now. Andros tried to sneak into  the Dark Fortress anyway.  Before he left  Ashley caught him and told him to be careful. Andros went  into Space using his battlized armor.

Astronoma had given the people of Angel Grove an ultimatum to  turn over the Rangers or else. Bulk and Skull claimed they were Rangers.  All the other people of Angel Grove did the same. The Rangers were impressed by this. Astronoma ordered th people's destruction. She was stopped by the Rangers ( in civilian forms). They claimed they were the Power Rangers and morphed in front of everyone.  They  than began to battle the forces of Astronoma. Astronoma and Ecliptor went back to the Dark Fortress. The people of Angel Grove rallied around Bulk and Skull, helping th Power Rangers in battle. Andros found Zordon at last. Zordon told Andros the only way to save the universe was to shatter his tube. Than his good energy would destory all the evil. Andros didn't want to because he knew Zordon would die. Zordon said that he would live on forever in all goodness. Astronoma interrupted  and the two fought. Andros tried to reason with his sister but she wouldn't have it. Astronoma wanted to kill Andros with a blast. Andros deflected it and the blast hit Astronoma. She slowly fell to the ground and died. Andros was in shock as Eclipter came in ( he couldn't beleive his beloved Astronoma was dead). He than began to fight Andros. Andros got the best of Ecliptor in battle and Zordon told him he needed to shatter his tube now or all would be lost. Andros shattered the tube and Zordon's energy wave flew across the galaxy. All the evil of the universe ( that was invading) was distegrated. Zedd, Rita, and Divatox were turned to regular humans. The Rangers celebrated with the people on Earth as the Universe was now saved. They than saw the Dark Fortess begin to land. The Rangers thought Astronoma had won. To their surprise Andros came out of the ship holding the body of his sister. The Rangers rushed to him and were happy he was ok. But they were saddened to learn Karone was dead. Andros began to cry and  his trears washed over his sister face. Magically her cyborg parts disapeared ( as did her hair dye and armor) Karone became alive again and was  freed from evil. Andros was overjoyed to have his sister back.

The Rangers dropped the Korvian rebels off at KO 35. Andros and Ashley said their good byes. Andros wanted to stay with his people. Andros gave the four Earth Rangers the Megaship to take them home. As the Rangers prepared to lift of KO 35 , Ashley already began to miss Andros. Andros arrived on the Megaship Bridge and surpised the Rangers. He  told them  he was going home with them (his home was with them). Karone and Zhane entered the Megaship and jioned them. Overjoyed, the Rangers embarked on their journy back to Earth where they could finally live in peace together as a family.
