Trini was chosen by Zordon to be the very first Yellow Power Ranger, and she would harness the power of the Saber-toothed Tiger. She was somewhat shocked at the ability to be a Power Ranger, but the idea lingered in her mind, it appealed to her that she could have the chance to save the world.

No one would guess that Trini was fearful of anything, but she had one strong fear… the fear of heights. Trini overcame her fear of heights when she had to save Billy who had went too high in his attempt to escape a group of putty patrollers. Trini once again faced her fear, when Rita Repulsa sent the Rangers to the Island of Illusions. With the other Ranger’s help, Trini was able to overcome this fear too.

One of Trini’s pet causes is the environment, and even started a clean up drive to protect the environment. Trini also got involved in the Big Sister program where she was the big sister of a little girl for a day. Trini is also very close with her family, her favorites being her cousin Sylvia, and her Uncle Howard. Kimberly is Trini’s best friend, and she translates Billy’s scientific language to help the rest of the team understand.
