Kimberly Ann Hart was the typical valley girl, until she was chosen to be the Pink Power Ranger by Zordon. Kimberly was to harness the Pterodactyl power coin, and fly the mighty Pterodactyl through the skies. Kimberly thought the whole idea of being a Power Ranger was a joke, when Zordon had first explained its nature. Like Zack, she encouraged the others to walk away.

Luckily, a putty attack by Rita Repulsa made her realize that she could protect the world as the Pink Ranger, and she agreed to save the world. Kimberly’s passion was gymnastics, and she was very good at it, always placing first in contests. She wasn’t just good in gymnastics, she could also act, and starred in many of Angel Grove High’s drama plays. Kimberly was heartbroken when Rita Repulsa stole her grandmother’s spinning wheel and turned it into a monster, and became determined to get it back.

When Tommy Oliver came to town, Kimberly immediately developed a crush on him. It wasn‘t until she found out that he had been the Evil Green Ranger that her crush ended. After Tommy was redeemed, Kimberly’s feelings returned and the two started dating. Kimberly was heartbroken when Tommy lost his Green Ranger powers, and their relationship was put on hold.
