Force Facts
1. Wild Force was adapted from GaoRanger. It used a lot of sentai plots like Time Force but mixed in a few Americna ones as well, Wild force aired weekly like Time Force. It lasted for 40 plus episodes. 2. Amit
Bhaumik was
brought into be the new lead Story Editor of Wild Force.
Amit had orginally been a fan of the show and once ran the old
Power Rangers
Online Archives Website. He also produced the famous Scropion Rain fan
film.
3. Their
was a rumor
in the
fandom that that orginal Blue Ranger
actor had been fired for misconduct. This was not true and was
later proven false. The same actor always had the role and no one was
fired.
4. Master
Org's
costume was not
from Gaoranger. It was actually
made form the main villain of DiaRanger ( MMPR Season 2 counterpart).
5.
The
"Sing Song"
episode provoked great controversay in the
fandom. The new song that was debuted was almost universally disliked
by the fandom. Most of the production staff agreed with that
sentiment, including Amit himself.
6.
Orginally the
weapons the
Rangers recieved in Team Carnivel were
recieved via mail ( from a Tommy Oliver who was from Angel Grove.).
This
scene was cut during editiing.
7. ReinForcements form the Future and
Foerever Red
were both
written
By Amit. Several ideas and scenes were cut from Forever Red.
Forever Red celebrated Power Rangers' 10th aniversery. 8.
Midway
through Wild
Force's production Saban Entertianment was
bought out by disney. Disney broke up the company into divisions. The
Powor Rangers division of the defunct Saban Company became MMPR
PRoductions ( but was ran by the same exact staff). Fox wouild end its
kids block to lease it to someone else. Wild Force took a few weeks
hatious before it moved to ABC KIDS and ABC Family.
9. After Wild Force's
production ended MMPR Productions was
disbanded. Much of the staff was laid off with a few expections.
Production of the show was made non union and moved to New Zealand. A
new
staff was brought in, resulting in the biggest production change over
in pr
history.
