Ninja Storm Facts

1. A subsidary of Disney named Buena Vista Entertainiment managed the Power Rangers property after disney took over. Doug Sloan ( former story editor of mmpr- turbo season 1) and Ann Austen  ( another past production team member)  returned to  Power Rangers for the first time in years. This time they were Executive Producers and were made the  head of the show. A few past writers were brought back into the fold. Jackie Marchand returned to  be the story editor.  Koichi Sakamotto (  the leader of Alpha Stunts team and producer) remained on the show. A lot of new faces were brought in however, resulting in a almost compeltely new production staff. Ninja Storm was shot in New Zealand  and was non union. It aired on ABC Kids and ABC Family.

2. Ninja Storm took footage from Huricanranger. It used more American storylines than Time Force and Wild Force. Many New Zealand actors were brought into play different roles. Along with some Americans.

3.  Before Ninja Storm  began   to air a big untrue rumors had already surfaced. They said that Sloan wanted revenge for what happaned during his departure in Turbo. According to the rumors he was the one that convinced the company to get rid of mmpr productions and put him in charge. The rumor turned out to be completely untrue. Doug and Ann were brought in after the fact. MMPR Productions was merely dispersed for money reasons. It was cheaper to move the show to New Zealand and go non union. Sloan and Ann had no part in the decision at all. Sloan even came out later to say that he respected his past co workers and was still friends with many of them.

4.  Doug Sloan would go on to visit  the PR Fandom , particuarly Rangerboard. He would interact with the fans like no producer had before him. Actors Sally Martina and Jason Chan would also visit Rangerboard few times.

5.  An early episode in Ninja Storms  run was cut by the censors. It was later reedited and shown out of production order. Orginally it dealt with  a peace conference to aviod a war. This was changed to an enviornmental conference. The episode was, "Snip It, Snip It Good."

6. The Ninja Storm finalie features James Napier in a guest starring role. Naiper had already been cast to play a main character in the following years Power Rangers, as Conner Macnight. Later his character from Ninja Storm  ( Eric) was said to be Conner's brother.
