If Lionsgate does a sequel to Power Rangers, I think the should get Rob Gronkowski to play Tommy.

Gronk is a future Hall of fame tight end for the New England Patriots. Rumors has it that he could retire to get invovled in WWE or Hollywood.

I think he would be a good choice to play Tommy. Since he has a larger than life personality and name value. Thats something you would want with the new Tommy. It could also jump start the movie franchise.

I don't see how a football player will be a good actor. Not in his first major role anyway .

I really think Saban should partner with Disney next.

He wouldn't have the experience to do a role like that. And he is too old to play a teen.

Eh tempting but first they'd have to make a new Power Rangers movie first.

It's like I remember before there actually was a new Power Rangers movies casting Taylor Lautnter as Tommy.

Its an interesting idea. Not sure if Rob is ready for such a main role though. He seems like he would be better off in a supporting role.

Oh please Gronk as an actor would be lame. He has no acting experience. He was born with a talent for football. Throwing that away for an actinf carreer would be wasting his talent. Now if he retires because of Health, thats a different story. But if acting is the main reason, I hope his films flop hard. At least with wrestlinf he would still be using athelticks . Gooe luck not gettinv hurt though.

Perhaps he would make a better henchman. Or even the new Bulk. Comedy is a good place to start with Gronk. He is a funny guy in real life. If its the evil henchman role, thats a typical entry level role for jocks turned actors.

Maybe they could have Jason David Frank be the new Tommy.

I heard he might also go into Pro Wrestling.

I don't see him going into wrestling because he will just get more hurt.

Please no!

And really I don't know why Gronk would want to play Tommy? The movies would be better off without a new Tommy. The franchise is still recovering from the first one. I don't like Gronk anyway,, since I am a Jets fan.

The're not going to expect us to buy JDF as a teenager? Perhaps his cameo role in the first can be expanded into a supporting role of some sort?

But there will be a new Tommy if a sequel every gets made. They already teased it. And they would be foolish not to. Especially since the first movie didn't make as much money as they wanted.

that won't be happening.

and that won't be happening either

Maybe they could have Jason David Frank be the new Tommy.

and neither will that since there's no way you can pass JDF off as being High School age any longer

I agree with Kira. But they don't need to have him be a teen. He can be playing a older Tommy. Maybe even our Tommy who came to the movie universe?

They need to just use Burai and make it just like Zyuranger. Also get Toei to produce the action scenes.

That wouldn't make sense. It wouldn't be a Zyuranger Movie.

How often do football players make good actors?

I just want the movie franchise to continue so we get a Zeo Movie.

I see him playing football for a few more seasons and retiring.
